Actually, more is more.

All of your input over the past few months has helped us hone in on some great new offerings and benefits to make your experience here at the club even better. Here’s the 4 big things heading your way.

1. More & Better Managed Programming

You asked for more open plays, more small-scale and 2-hour clinics, more after work programming, and better skill-level and organizational management. Boom:

  • 30% more programming across each week.

  • 70% more after-work programming.

  • 15% more Advanced Intermediate and Advanced programming. And Jason will be on court for about 20 hours each week teaching clinics and lessons at these levels.

  • We’re moving to more All-Level open plays in the evenings and level-specific open plays in the afternoons, all with more skill level guardrails to help maintain fair and competitive play.

  • We’re also experimenting with different Open Play formats (up and down the river, challenge courts, etc.) and a new on-court management system to help organize and streamline open plays around skill level for a better playing experience.

There’s a lot to like here, and it’s all driven by your feedback!

2. A fix for your DUPR woes

Along with better skill-level management, you asked for easy ways to get or reset a DUPR score. We’ve now got three easy ways to do just that:

  • Pickleball Vision AI-Enhanced Video. It’s already built into the court and your app. Play 3 games, enhance the video through PB Vision, and use the average of the 3 AI-assessed scores to create a permanent DUPR override score or new official score if you don’t yet have one. Check out the video here for a full tutorial.

  • The Volley AI-Enhanced Ball Machine. The Volley now has a DUPR assessment program that can give you an initial rating if you don’t yet have one.

  • Certified DUPR Coach. Beginning in October, Jason will be certified to do live assessments to set or re-set people’s DUPR scores.

In addition to the video tutorial here, we’ll be hosting some live sessions to help teach you how to use PB Vision and the Volley for DUPR assessments.

3. More ways to use Dink Dollars

You asked for more ways to use Dink Dollars. In addition to all of the new programming options, we’ve added the ability to exchange Dink Dollars for significant discounts inside and outside the club:

  • In the café

  • In the pro shop

  • For ZZT apparel

  • For private meeting rooms

  • For proprietary, ZZT member-only discounts with select external health and wellness partners

You can start asking to apply Dink Dollars when you check out at the cafe or pro shop beginning September 1. Whoever is checking you out can provide the discount, the exchange rate, and your total Dink Dollar balance live on the spot. And we’ll be launching a web page where we continually update and add new individual health and wellness discounts and exchange rates soon.

4. More Membership Options

You asked for more accessible ways to become part of the ZZT community so you could bring more friends and family into the fold with you. We’re bringing the fire by adding two new core memberships and a junior option.

The Match Play and Open Play memberships will be available through the app starting in September. Talk to a manager if you’re interested in the Junior Freestyle for your child.
